How to earn money online from YouTube Channel?

YouTube has a YouTube Partnership Program (YPP) for the creators on YouTube worldwide in which creators can generate revenue by display advertisements in their videos. This is called “Monetization”. The higher the audience, the more you earn. It is not hard but not simple at the same time. You have to be enough patient and productive to earn money from YouTube because as the time is running, more creators are coming on YouTube and competition is also increasing.

Recently YouTube has announced YouTube shorts which follows the concept of short videos. This is similar to TikTok. You can create short videos on YouTube very easily and because of being a new feature YouTube is supporting short videos. Due to this, if you start creating shorts on YouTube, you will get high views on it in less time.

Today in this post I will cover full tutorial about “ How to earn money online from YouTube?”. I will discuss about all the requirements and processes you have to do to earn on YouTube. So let’s begin………

Step 1: Create a gmail account.

For YouTube channel, you first have to create a fresh gmail account. For creating a gmail account, follow following steps:-

a. Go to any web browser and type mail.google.com

b. Then click on the “Sign up” button on the top right corner.

c. Click on “Create account” button.

d. Put the basic information asked by google.

e. Click on “I Agree” button after reading terms and conditions.

f. That’s it, google account is created.

Step 2: Create a YouTube channel.

After you login into your new account, click on your profile pic on the top right corner (first letter of your name if pic not selected) and click on “Your channel”. After you do that, YouTube will ask you to write your channel name. You can type any name you want. Then that’s it, channel is created. New let’s see next step.

Step 3: Start making videos 

After creating a channel you have to go again to the “Your channel” tab like I said in the previous step. There will be an option for making videos below you mr channel name. If you use smart phone then you can simply click on + icon at the middle bottom of the screen and make whatever you like.

Step 4: Keep making videos and reach the requirements for Monetization

Youtube has some strict rule and requirements for the monetization for any channel. Below are the basic requirements for monetization on YouTube.

Requirements for Monetization on YouTube

1. 1000 subscriber on you YouTube channel under 1 year.

2. 4000 hours of watch time on total videos on your channel.

3. Your channel should be free from any type of copyright claim or copyright strike. (Which you get when you upload copyrighted content in your channel)

4. Your channel should be free from guidelines strike. (Which you get when you violate the terms and conditions of YouTube.)

Step 5: Monetize your channel and start earning money

After you reach the requirements for monetization on YouTube, you can monetize your channel and start earning money by displaying advertisements on your videos. You can search on YouTube about how to monetize YouTube channel and then monetize your channel by following the ways. It is not possible in this post because I don’t have any account to monetize. 

You don’t have to select ads manually by yourself. You just have to add advertisement gaps in your video and then fill the gaps using the ads feature on YouTube while uploading videos.
